Dear Pack 124 Parents -

 

Each year we gather as a pack to celebrate the completion of our scouting year.  This year our annual Family Campout will be held from 3pm Saturday June 25th - 9am Sunday June 26th at Hoyt Reservation in Redding.  Please join us for an afternoon of games, food and fun.  We will have a campfire with s'mores at nightfall and a "midnight" hike for those brave enough to spend the night.  The entire family is welcome to join us for the day and/or stay through the night.   A parent is required to stay with their child at all times.  Scouts are not allowed to be left unattended at any time.  

 

Please respond back to me at amdapkus@gmail.com no later than Friday June 17th with the number of people attending and how many will be spending the night. 

 

The campout will be at the Brown Pavilion/Field on Hoyt Reservation.  Hoyt Scout Camp is located in West Redding, Connecticut, bordered by Simpaug Turnpike, Marchant Road, Side Cut Road, and Station Road.  Directions to the campground can be found here.   The Brown Pavilion area is accessed off Marchant Road.

 

 

 

 

Food will be provided Saturday and Sunday morning, but all campers should bring tents, sleeping bags, pillows, flash light, bug spray etc. required for camping.  "Facilities" are available, but they don't call it roughing it for nothing.
